This is for Ages: (7-17)
Welcome drawers aged 7+ and all skill levels to summer Drawing Camp! Classroom materials for use include 2B, 4B, 6B graphite pencils, charcoal, colored pencils, markers, sharpies, erasers, pencil sharpeners, and paper. Okay for experienced drawers to bring own sketchbook and materials, and to modify day’s lesson to be more challenging. Students will be challenged to push a single drawing for at least 45 minutes of the hour’s session.
Day 1 – pencil techniques, drawing basic shapes and shadows in still life
Day 2 – noticing basic shapes in human form through mannequin study
Day 3 – noticing light by drawing white on black from real objects
Day 4 – bring an object to draw (items on hand if forgotten)
Register by noon Monday, minimum 4 and maximum 12 students. Pay once minimum enrollment is met. Tell your friends!
