This is for Ages: (7-17)
Wheel class for kids is ONLY for students that have previous experience in the Valley Art clay studio, but beginners to wheel are welcome from 5:00-7PM. Experienced wheel students may choose to arrive as early as 4PM if working independently. LIMITED TO 5 SPOTS TOTAL. If your student is new to clay at Valley Art, please choose the standard clay class.
*arm length from elbow to center palm must be at least 9 inches in order to properly reach wheel.
Students will create the first class, and glaze their creations the last day. Pieces available for pick up after month’s end, depends on kiln loading schedule and you will get an email.
[Meets Sept 14 & 28] Other months may include 3 or 4 days total. This class runs concurrently with the handbuilding class, but has a staggered start.
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR CLOSED-TOE SHOES IN THE POTTERY STUDIO.
