Three Three > Nine - International Print Exchange

Calling all printmakers!

We're just a tiny bit excited. Announcing the Artingales first biennial International 'Three Three Nine' print exchange.
Inspired by our sister artist at Wingtip Press and her Leftovers exchange, we've decided to organize a tiny print exchange that might use more of those paper scraps from tearing down to size.

How it works: You make and submit eleven 3 x 3 inch hand-pulled prints (twelve if you keep a B.A.T.) and get a randomly selected 9 tiny prints back from other artist's submissions. Artingales will keep one set of prints to show, and use the remaining set in a fundraising capacity for its Hope Project, which will include a print catalog available for purchase in 2017. The Hope Project offers statewide free art classes to children with a history of abuse that are on behavior plans or a part of the foster system in Oregon.

RSVP to april@artingales.org and include your preferred contact information, with the complete mailing address to receive the nine prints.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all printmakers of all skill levels worldwide
DUE DATE: October 11, 2016. - Post marked by date
PRINT DIMENSIONS: Paper size 3” x 3” (7.62 cm x 7.62 cm). Print area, up to full bleed
PRINT MEDIA: Hand-pulled (digital mixed with traditional techniques is acceptable)
EDITION SIZE: Eleven prints, each one signed, dated, and numbered 1/11 – 11/11. Titles are optional. Because of the tiny size of the prints, you may sign, number and date your prints on the back. Please feel free to include a business card with networking information. If your prints have a chance of sticking to each other, interleave all prints with recycled paper, tissue paper, or glassine prior to shipping.
PARTICIPATION FEE: $22 USD for U.S. contributors and $27 USD for International contributors. We currently accept PayPal payment. Payments made via PayPal must be submitted no later than when you mail your edition.

*If you'd like to donate additional artist proofs for Artingales to sell/auction in support of its Hope Project, please feel free. Just make sure you mark them with "AP" instead of numbering.

Arrangements to show the collection with details for your CV or attendance will be sent to the email address provided with RSVP.
